Yeah, it's too bad but lots of old racers kept getting modified as they were traded down. That or crashed, burned and some shipped to foreign lands.

is that like Abe Lincoln's ax , handle replaced 3 times , head replaced 2 times , but it is Abe ax ?

I have some Super8 film of that car running at Richmond Dragway back in 1970. Shame they didn't have it back to it's correct paint scheme.
