Title: Printo seals strike again
Post by: fastback 427 on August 26, 2018, 06:48:09 PM
My intake gasket has been seeping on the outside of my head all year. Finally pulled the intake and found the printo leaks are saturated and not even stuck down in spots. Plugs have been getting oil fouled and it is running way to rich.
Looking to do a cam swap and change the dove intake for a street dominator.
What is a good intake gasket for medium riser ports?

I like the Mr. Gasket 202A myself...

That's what I use too, on my ported Edelbrocks.   The Mr. Gasket 202A's.   I have to cut them to fit my enlarged ports, but I've never had an issue with them.

I took the Printoseal challenge a long time ago with horrible results......

202As are all I use on a med riser, and cheap blue standard Felpros on a low riser

The Fel-Pros with an "S-3" suffix will work.  The passenger car MS10945 will work.  The aforementioned Mr. Gaskets will work (although the sealing area gets pretty thin on ported stuff).  Blue Thunder gaskets work really well (when you can get them).  The old Victor Reinz gaskets work if you still have some laying around.  Anything but the basic Print-o-seal seems to do OK.
