Title: quality time

I had some quality time today, laying on the bottom of the boat
Having some cold pizza and roastbeef sadwiches and a couple of
coold beers
watching a rainfront buildup over land. It hit us around nine o clock
tonight with some rain and thunder

This one thought a tight patch of seeweed was land and jumped from the boat and took a dive ;D ;D

Have been the hottest summer in 260 years they say. 85-90 degrees for over a month with  no rain since may ...I know some of you
put on an extra shirt in that weather ::) ;D
But now its over, when the thunder come from inland and went out to the see it takes the heat with it. My grand mother
told me that  when i was a kid and she was right

Heo, what body of water are u on?  A local lake or the Gulf of Bothnia?

I'm guessing the Kalix river, right at the mouth of the Gulf of Bothnia. Heo's up there....waaaaaaay up there!
Looks like a good time, Heo. Only 2 oars? That doesn't even equal 1 horsepower. Better not float too far  ;)

Bruce S,  Doug is right . The end of Kalix river where it float out in
Gulf of bothnia. First photo is up the river, my house is up in that
treeline. The third photo is toward the Gulf of bothnia, we have view
right out to  the open sea from our bedroom window at second floor

Doug, Yes we had a good time, very relaxing laying there listening
to the water against the hull and the thunder in the distance, and a
light breeze from the sea.
I made the oars out of spruce so they are hi perf oars not dynoed
but .... ;D and we built the boat out of Aspen  like the ancient carbonfiber ;D
very light weight

Drew, at least you have Detroit Diesels and a crew aboard
i have only oars, pizza, beer, and topless Lady's aboard
i cant tug any barges with that setup ;D ;D

Turbohunter, Why do anything today that you can push forward to the next day
And i got some beers finished and some pizza eaten so ??? ;D ;D
