Title: Got my headers back from the coating place

I found this place in Oklahoma City, which is fairly local, that said they would coat my headers inside and out for a very reasonable price.  All I can say is I guess I got what I paid for. I was a little skeptical on the price but decided to give them a try. They look terrible. They aren't evenly coated, not coated on the inside other than what they sprayed and it looks like some of it rubbed off laying in the bed of the truck on the home. When I saw them about all I could do was close my eyes and sigh. There wasn't much point in raising a stink because I didn't want them to touch them EVER again. I'll go ahead and put them on and see what happens.

Alan what type of coating did this outfit tell you they would be applying ?

They told me it was a ceramic coating as I requested. I did ask for a dull finish.

Jezz it looks like they spray painted them. Oh boy its funny they probably thought they did a good job.

does not look like they baked them ?
