Title: Marine cam specs question for Werby

Hey Werby, do you have specs for mid 60's 427/300 hp marine cams in your file?  I am going through a standard rotation engine.  I want to convert it to a hydraulic roller.  I will upgrade it, but just curious of the original specs.  We will, at some point, do the reverse engine......I'll have to use a round lobe core to make a reverse rotation hydraulic roller, but first things first......thanks for any info you can share...

My best guess which I got from somewhere is that it's the 390pi grind, 206-206-114 at .050, 168-168-114 at .100 lobe, pretty mild, .264 .264 lobe lift.
I measured a worn b8a-a 352/300 solid cam from 1958 and it came out really close to this - I often wondered it they were the same.

The early 390gt cam is also 206-206-116 IIRC, but 172-172-116 at .100 lobe, a little fuller lobe. IIRC Dennis once posted the full specs on that cam.
Maybe he has some specs for the 427/300 Marine too.

There was also a 427/330 Marine, same except 11.0 compression instead of 8.9 CR.
