I bought this truck a couple of years ago but haven't really been able to drive because the tires were shot. So today I finally got some new tires for it. The wheels I have had for a long time but never put them on anything. I think they look pretty good on the old truck even if I do say so myself. I put about 30 miles on it today and it runs out pretty good so far. It has a '68 390 2V in it with a C6 and as it stands today I think that's just the way it will stay. This is a work in progress and just a driver. :)

Those are American Racing Rodmaster wheels. They don't make them anymore. They look a lot like Halibrand wheels.

Yes they got that ridge around the slots

Great truck, Alan. I need a 3/4 ton 4X4 just like that...

Thanks, Jay. It's a nice 10 footer. Get up close and it has some warts and I am ok with that. I bought it as a retirement(not retired yet) project so it's a work in progress. I am just wanting a fun cruiser...no show truck.

Nice truck Alan. I saw a 65 3/4 ton yesterday at our yearly flea bag. I`m gonna go back today and see how much they want for it. I need a new tow truck for the toys, one of these would fit the bill nicely. Easy to work on and classy at the same time!

Oh Alan.... why were you playing with a Mustang when you had this thing sitting around?

Trust me I have asked myself the same question...many times. I was past the point of no return on the Mustang when I got this truck. I was either going to have to finish the 'Stang or give it away(relatively speaking). Project cars just don't bring much.
