I was researching prices on a 8 rib serpentine belt and the lowest was $25, until I found this buisness called "V-Belt Guys".
Their price is $6.65 + $7.00 shipping. Think thier 7 bucks is trustworthy ?

Buy two and keep it in the glovebox just in case.

I dunno, I needed a v belt for my 88 ranger on a Sunday, so I went to Advance Auto & belts were anywhere from $28. to $5 bucks. Bought the $5.00 one thinking how good can this be? It has been on a year with no issues.

It's a Gates, so quality should be fine. Don't even try to figure out why some things are 10x more expensive than something that is nearly identical, even by the same manufacturer. It's the 8th Wonder. ::)

The tail light lenses on my trailer was busted so i went to buy new ones. A complete light

Some business's for the same belt are $45 !
I just don't want like,....factory rejects. :o
I just bought a new CVF pulley set and it came with a belt, and was looking to put another in the trunk.
Lower in cost than CVF. (love the quality of their pulleys and bracket)

It's all about supply and demand. I used to work in parts store and saw this all the time.

Its not a Gates part. It states "Gates replacement" in a bunch of places, says the Gates brand and number are for reference only, and references some fabricated brand name in the small print. Some sort of Chinese knockoff - might be perfectly fine - but on an expensive custom car and engine - might not be the best place to save twenty bucks.

Good catch, Barry. And sly advertising on their part. That explains the low price.
