I was going to wash the Galaxie today but... spraying degreaser
with those 1 liter bottles with a hand pump is no fun....
and those "gardensprayers" you can buy...well they are not made
out of Amerikan bauxite
So i decided to make my own , I had this old Fire extinguisher
i opened and emptied out, drilled a 7/16 hole at the top put a
valve stem from a wheel, Twisted a safetywire around the stem
so i could tread it in from inside the extinguisher.
I bought a handle and a long "nossle" and a piece of hose
so now i just fill it whith degreaser and presurice it with
the ...well the thing you fill the tires
No hand pumping just aim and pull the trigger

That is what we use to spray a product called "Mud Off" on our sprint car right before heading out to race on a muddy track.
Like you, got tired of the pump sprayers.
