I have been doing a lot of adjusting on my carb for trans kickdown and full throttle adjustment.
I started using these sponges to keep the gas from going in my engine.
They work quite well.

Hey, I said it was a small tip! :D
Anybody notice the 428cj transfer tube on the carb? I am using the fuel line and filter on the other side. It looks pretty stock with the shaker on.

That's a great idea! Why didn't I think of that, after years of post adjustment backfires, flames shooting out of the hood scoop, etc...

Really helpful when setting up a 2x4 linkage where you need to go to WOT about a hundred times!
