Title: crankshaft pilot bushing
Post by: feadam on April 23, 2018, 07:34:27 AM
Got my engine together and opened my clutch kit box and there are three pilot bushings. The big bushing is the only one that fits crank, crank is aftermarket steel crank. Is this the right one to use, none of the three other bushings fit. The big one fits in crank closest to trans, it to big to go in smaller forward crank holes. This may sound like dumb question but haven't put a standard trans behind an FE since the eighties and never with aftermarket crank so want to make sure i get it right.

Put flywheel on it was really tight also. I guess aftermarket cranks are machined tight
