Going to buy a new set of engine pulley's, alternator only. I want to try the 6 or 8 rib serpentine system.
I've had March's before but not CVF's.
Any paticular reason's for choosing one company over the other ?

CVF pulleys are good quality, Midwest made and cheaper. But cant go wrong with either.
-
I've only used March and they fit perfect. That said next time I would definitely try CVF for the price.
-
CVF is about 40 bucks less. The brackets are almost the same.
Top is CVF

Until The March brothers moved to Florida, they were a local outfit. I knew them, not well, but their stuff is absolutely top-notch. And they are good guys. They make stuff for all makes, but they're FORD people. That's good enough for me!!

Good to know. $40 isn't enough not to buy. I can look, but do you know if CVF is made in thr USA ?
-
Yes it is US made, all of the cnc machine of pulleys and brackets.

Going to try the CVG.

I have used CVF pulley's on 3 cars now 351w 69 stang 429 83 f100 and 2v crank pulley only for added power steer on 66 fairlane only thing i didn't like is when you use a full set they always slipped and howled due to the high polish it dose go away over time but still not a nice sound on start up. Last set i taped up and did a lite sandblast of the v on each pulley worked a treat no unwanted screaming belts on start up and no need to use that spray grip that makes a mess of every thing.

The March's I've had have always been hard anodized.
