It was a great feeling to twist the key and see the engine spin over.
things to do
Add the steering column to the shaft already in the car!! ::)
Get the tach working to determine idle speed
Adjust the carb
and a bunch of other stuff.

Congrats John! You should now have the inspiration to get 'er street legal! Hope to see you and the car at an upcoming event. Bruce

Thanks Bruce. That’s the goal I’m headed for.

Wow congratulations John. What a cool deal.
Hope you’re on top of the world, you deserve it.

Thanks Marc.

Great looking and sounding car- Like the wheel/tire combo too, gives the car a solid "capable" look (as I'm sure it will be 8). Now then, it may be time to update that avatar, sorta like Marc who fearlessly rolled his out into the light of day.

Thanks Len. My capable look may turn a little more factory-ish when I actually bolt down the top of the shocks. :o. They are sticking up threw the shock tower about 4” more than they should. All I can say is I really wanted to make it move without having to push it.
I will get my son to take a good picture when I get the hood back on it for a new avatar.

nice , be carefull driving your car without the weight in it , glass , hood , etc. the lighten weight messes with the front end alignment . i almost wrecked mine doing that .
