Post by: Royce on March 13, 2018, 09:09:32 AM
Can anyone tell me what the application would be for this fuel filter?

The bottom cannister is Ford of course. Maybe a boat or truck application as it looks pretty heavy-duty and maybe remote mounted off the engine.

There is a picture of it in the old ford 60-64 michrofiche (row 17-63). It is listed for 62-64 Fairlane in the illustration. It is hard to tell but it may be a C2AZ-9155-A/FG33. Jim

Thats the engineering number. Ford part numbers on the box and the parts catalogs are never the same as the number on the part. I don't have current access to my old engineering cross reference at this time. Jim

I think Jim has the right answer, also full size Ford, various applications. Pictures from the Ford Parts Book:

Nope! Definitely a super-rare Cobra Jet 428 part that only factory-backed racers got.

Bet it was on the 1st Tasca 'Stang or maybe Don Nicholson's?

Man, I wish I had the $900 asking price  ;)
