They did not do this to a Talladega but they certainly in an abstract way Talladega-ized a Torino. I have my opinion of the result,,, but you might as well try to rate your opinion on the HOT ROD page/link. Kind of reminded me of Jays trying to get the scoop on his Drag Week SHELBY GT500 "right"

I think that thing is kind of ugly... (like my foam hood scoop LOL!)

I've seen it in person and the fab work is amazing. There isn't an original panel on it so I call it a 69 Troy. I like it but I prefer leaving my Torino body lines stock.
Most people on here and the 54 forum don't like PT style Fords so I don't talk about mine much.

BTW Hotrod are idiots that is not David Pearson’s Talladega as they refer to it but a tribute car built by a guy in Fullerton CA.

The fab work indeed looks incredible. I really dont feel so self-concious about my tig welds now though. I mean, if welds like that can be in HotRod, I'm not doing so bad. ;D

fetorino, I like yours better. 8)
But if we're going with Hotrod Fords, I'd have to go with this one, FE and all. I could be biased a little though........ ;)

Personally I like the stock body lines of my Fords, although I can appreciate the workmanship of guys like Trepanier, Foose, and even the Ring Brothers, I find much of their body mods to be too over the top for my tastes. Having owned a number of 69-70 Mustang fastbacks, and 69 Fairlane Cobra fastbacks, I think Ford "nailed it" when they designed these cars, and they don`t NEED a bunch of tweaking or "massaging"! The millionaire drunks at Barrett-Jackson may droll over these big name, big wheeled works of art, but they dont do anything for me.

They wacked up a very rare original Boss 429 injection manifold for no reason at all....
