I acquired a set of 16 red anodized roller tip rocker arms in the mid 1980's, have no idea who manufactured them. Pretty sure they are not DOVE or Harland Sharp. They have a Ford style tight fitting adjuster screw (no lock nut), no bushings in shaft hole, and a groove cut in center for oil supply. Attached are 2 pics. Any idea who made these?

Personally haven’t seen them before but the bottom left is that a piece of dirt or a crack near the adjuster, probably dirt but just thinking out loud.

Maybe Crane Cams?

I'm leery of any interference fit with steel/aluminum. Wear will cause a need for a locknut in a fairly short time.

Dove made a lot of rocker arms, many anodized a different color and sold under the Brand name. I suspect those in the pic originated from Dove, maybe sold as Comp Cams back in the day.

Not bushed and no jam nut, don't know maker but they look inferior to me.

Me thinks perhaps they are not supposed to have that interference adjuster in there , as there would be no need for all that clearance around the hex at the top ,IMHO

Definitely not Harland Sharps. I think Jameson called it. Dove did make rockers in red and resemble their body shape. Dove never used a bushing as far as I'm aware, either. I think someone put those factory adjusters in there and looks to be a no-no. JMO

Looks pretty similar to this newer Dove:

Consensus is rocker arms look like DOVE design (but not anodized Blue), someone wrongly added Ford style screw (must replace with DOVE screw/jamnut). The Ford style adjuster installed in red aftermarket rocker really threw me off, but the mismatched parts theory makes sense. DOVE is no longer in business, but I'll try to obtain correct fitting screw/jamnut elsewhere, thanks everyone for the help

Smith Brothers has probably got the adjusters you need...
-
Dove did them for a lot of other folks over the decades. They did Speed Pro in black, possibly Edelbrock in red....

For a long time, Dove made more rocker arms than anybody else.
