Title: '62 406 tri-power for sale

I have decided to sell my 406 tri-power. I have to many projects that are not getting done.    The engine is apart and needs some work before it can be put back together.  Block #C2AE-J std.bore. Heads #C2SE-B no cracks but need some work. Rods #C2AE-B 13/32 bolts, have been resized. It has a 390 crank, all balanced. Carbs need kits also. I have new rod & main bgs. and piston rings too.   $2500.00 My shop # 605-835-9429 So.Central So.Dak. Call for more info.       Also I have a pair of C3AE-C heads (bare) no cracks-need some work,  $100.00 ea.       Wes

I will give you a few facts about the 406. First the intake has been welded on the right front.It looks like a good weld,the guy i bought it from was running  it so it should be ok. The best part about it is the standard bore. I was just going to hone, rering it and run it. Some one polished the sides of the rods and did some port work on the heads, just a basic cleanup & polish. The crank is a nice 390 unit that has been balanced to the pistons & rods. Also the block has been decked about .010 thou.     Thanks  Wes

interested in finding out more about the 406.has the block been line bored?any damage at all to the block?did you mention a cam? are those adj rockers...couldn't quite tell,are the carbs actual set of ford holleys?have the cam bearings been done in the block?...as you can see I have interest and probably be easier to talk in person....please email for cantact info
