Title: To use motor mounts or motor plate ? (427 Cobra)

I built a 427 Cobra replica back 2000 and my new 428 FE engine will arrive shortly. I'll need new 67' or so FE motor mounts.

But, I come from a sprint car background and like them, so what about fabbing up a aluminum motor plate instead of just typical mounts ?
Just something cool and different.

Hi, in my Comet I used a mid plate and rubber mounted it and used the motor mounts and transmission mounts, I have not run them yet but I think it will work fine. Leny Mason
