Title: Paint Info 63 390
Post by: bushwackr on September 16, 2017, 12:58:43 PM
Hello Everyone , Name is Josh   I'm new here and to the FE engines. I'm building my first 390 for a truck I have and I'm in need of information. I figured what better place than a dedicated forum for it.
Well I have many questions but I will start off with hopefully a easy one for someone.   I got my 390 out of a 63 Monteray custom.  I figure I would get the tin cleaned up and painted but my problem is I cannot find any info on the color or paint.   Its a turquoise color on the tin.   Where can I get it???   I have pics if needed

the torque and teal looks close but not quite.  Its not a must have thing just thought it was nice to be diffrent.  I have seen lots of gold and silver but never teal

Seems to be 2 different shades of Ford Green VHT SP131. Cans are different also. Make shure you get the correct one.
