Does anyone know of a valve spring tester that I can use without removing the springs, just the rocker shafts. I have 700 lb springs on my solid roller in my 427 FE 64 Falcon Sprint

Not quite what you are asking for, but I think it's an eloquent, inexpensive solution to removing and installing your springs. Looks like an FE guy designed and manufactures this. Maybe someone on the forum knows him.

Its a good tool and works well. Tim makes a few great products for the FE.

It wouldn't be hard to adapt something like this; this is a ProForm el-cheapo but the one from LSM (best one made IMO) is almost identical.

Neither of these have gauges that go to 700lbs
It wouldn't be hard to adapt something like this; this is a ProForm el-cheapo but the one from LSM (best one made IMO) is almost identical.

You're checking seat pressure, not open. You don't need 700#.

Thanks, I would have assumed you would check pressure throughout the range.
