I entered a Wilton contest with the Wilton Vise I bought new 38yrs ago. Since being a Ford FE guy for so long could use a little help . . .
As I was making my entry I noticed it was 38yrs to the DAY from my purchase . . .

Great story, I have a floor jack almost that old :D I see you are in Cave Creek. My Dad is in Phoenix, and our family visits every other year or so. Used to head up to Cave Creek every visit for dinner at the Satisfied Frog...

I still have my floor jack too a Walker 2 ton I bought back in 1977.
I am only a block off cave creek road a couple miles before the satisfied frog.

Yes, I only used it one time on the 427. It is still in the original box.

The color is also a good giveaway of it Being a Wilton if its never been repainted.
The Square vs round section was not that common. This square style is very beefy.
I think the date on my vise is 11-10-74.
120.00 for sure was a lot of money back then but sure would not sell it for that today!
Hard to beat 38yrs use and 100% or more of your money back . . .

Pretty sure my vise has a jaw opening of 11" which is HUGE for a 6" wide jaw vise. That was one of the reasons I bought it.
Back in 1977 I also bought a new OTC engine stand that was the best I have ever seen and has roller bearings in the wheels and swivels. I paid 225.00 for it back in 1977. Same day I bought a OTC cherry picker and paid 472.00 for it. I bought a Marquette brand battery charger same day. All of these tools are actually still in use. My cherry picker has never had the cylinder replaced or rebuilt. I lift double or more of its rating too.

This one is closer in style to what I have probably size too. Looks nearly identical?
