Title: My first fe build

Excited picked up a 390 crank and rods . Going to machine shop here in Houston . STD fe block . Was originally had a 360 crank . Tossed that out .

Has the crank been turned .030 already? If you cut it more it might be less than optimal.

I have not taking it in yet . It says standard hoping it will only need just the minimum.

Jeff at Houston Engine and Balance is a good guy that knows the FE's. He did all my machine work and break in on the dyno.

I always ask for ball park pricing on any type of work with whoever I deal with. Jeff came in less than stated on both occasions.
