Title: Sears Roebuck & Co. Mail Box

Assuming this is a kit, did these kits come with a rain gauge that mounted to the back?

I don't know Chris, but as I recall, you could get an aluminum bracket with a reflector rolled into the end & you could get custom letters to make your name & it was on top of the box. Maybe it got attached to the back so there was no chance to scrape your hands on the screws. You need to find an old Sears catalogue.

I could try the library and see if the newspapers had any Sears flyers from 1950 forward on microfiche. I will post feed back once my wife decides on a design. One of our ideas was to restore it to new condition.
Thanks
