Title: MSD pickup coil Bad?

Well i got my fuel problems fixed and went out to start the truck sat morn and no spark. I had trouble last weekend too. I thought it was the 2pin connectors on the pick up. I cut them and used some crimp on connectors to replace them. This is a new pro billet 8594. Any way i pull the coil wire and ground it and crank the motor and no spark. I then jump the 2 wires going out to the box and it sparks fine. Got to be the pickup? Right? I also ohmed it with my fluke and im getting 250ohms. Im pretty sure its the pickup do yall have any suggestions. Im gonna call msd tommorrow. Thanks!

You should get 500 to 700 ohms measuring the pickup. Odd that you get 250 ohms, the ones I've seen fail usually measure open.
