Did anyone see his 64 with a 440CI FE claiming over 900HP in fastest street car magazine ?
-
The article says he's doing 8.60.
-
If Kurt says its 900 hp and 8.60 then you best believe it..
-
It's been reported that is Paul Adams old car. It used to run 8's when Paul owned it. I haven't seen the article, I don't know if it has the same engine. Certainly an impressive car.
-
Kevin, it is Paul Adams's 64 T bolt.
-
For a racer, it's pretty darned immaculate! Not easy to do for a heavily campaigned car.
-
The article says the motor uses Dove high riser heads and factory 715cfm carbs. Very impressive for a 440ci engine.

July issue ?

Yes, Kurt bought Paul's Fairlane. I guess it came ready to run? If I recall from a conversation this past weekend at our stick race that Kurt hurt the motor recently. I don't know how bad.
-
Any update on engine damage ?
-
He bought it complete with the BES 427 in it.
