Title: Crank pulley
Post by: BigBlueIron on July 14, 2017, 11:19:03 AM
Does anyone know what crank pulley offset I need in BBC bolt pattern (ATI Balancer) Alternator only. Not really concerned what material, probably steel I can't think an aluminum version would really make much difference. Future plans for Jays water pump adapters with provisions for alternator.

Also a recommend diameter for an engine that will see 6500-7000rpm. Or overall recommended Alternator speed, I can change the alt pulley as well.

I just used a short pump 60's chebby pulley with the center hole opened up. Line up was perfect.
