I just posted a new vid about installing a FiTech Mean Street EFI + in tank fuel pump on my '69 Cobra with a 482 side oiler if anybody is interested in the topic. It definitely runs like a friggin' beast with EFI...

Good stuff! Have you get any more miles on it? Still thinking of one of these for my 445

I love it! Not having to worry about carb tuning allows for more time to deal with other things. I want to get a few hundred miles on it then go do a few dyno pulls to see where it is. Driveability is very good so far, and the throttle body seems to be a high quality piece.

What vacuum does your engine make?

like your car , looks like a real world ride .

Engine vacuum is around 10 at idle.
Thanks for the compliments! The car is fantastic to drive.

I saw your video about the fuel command center boiling over. Did FiTech suggest the problem may have been caused by the extremely remote location of the installation? It seems like an odd choice, with several feet of rubber hose draped over the motor (heating the fuel)
Glad you got it sorted. Love the views you have.

As I said in numerous responses to comments under the video, the FCC is mounted nowhere near any heat sources, the car was started from cold on a 60 degree day and the hood was up while it ran for a total of 5 minutes and 7 seconds. The low pressure fuel line was re-routed to avoid heat sources in a last ditch effort to prevent fuel boiling.
The FCC is simply a half baked effort to allow shade tree mechanics to install EFI without the challenges of installing a proper in-tank fuel pump and return line system. I tried it, it didn't work, I sent it back. With the correctly installed return line system and in-tank pump, the EFI works as it should. Upon further reflection, having two fuel pumps and a sump full of gasoline under the hood is a pretty lame idea anyway...
