hi im a junior mechanic in training sort of lol and been tinkering with hotrods since i was 15, i got recommended over here from the ford trucks forum, said y'all really know the fe stuff and is one of the best fe forums out there, so i dont take up to much of yalls time here was my question, i built a 390 using kb flat tops 8cc
d2teaa heads stock valve size, 68cc chambers, milled .030 i cced them with a kit gets to 10:3.1 compression, .052 quench, performer rpm manifold, port matched and smoothed ports, 750 holley ultra dp, factory non adjustable rockers
the cam specs are hydraulic flat tappet, advertised 290/302 duration .050 238/248 lift 550/557 lsa 108 Violent mid- range acceleration and torque 2700-6500.
electronic ignition, mid length header 1 3/4 primaries 3 collector 2.5 inch dual exhaust into original flowmaster, im using a 3000 rpm converter c6 trans and 4.11 gears used to have 2500 i had to install a new trans so i went with 3000 instead of 2500, so i was just curious as to how much hp and tq it would be making.. we dont have any chassis dynos around my area sadly so i though a good ball park figure would do

who cares what it makes.... sounds like it'll be fun to drive :P

Hiya 993 and welcome.
I'm an FTE cast off also.
There's a couple guys here (including me) that are running D2 heads on their trucks.
You've got a little more cam, a better intake and more compression than me. Built mine for torque and it made 411hp and 500 lb ft on the dyno and it's a blast to drive.
As Drew said, it really doesn't matter if it meets your expectations and is fun to drive.
Also now that you're a member here you've officially entered the FE rabbit hole. Hang on.

I run D2's but am slow these days. You should have as much fun with the 6.0 Silverado's as I had in my F-100 with the Vortec's. The Mustangs and Cameros are A LOT faster than they used to be but I bet half of them still lose there nerve at 100.

Go over to the Network 54 332-428 Forum and leave a note for 'Werby'. Ask him to 'Gonk' the information for you. His name is a story worthy of exploring. He has both an extensive database and a self-developed software program that should give you the info you want. I don't believe I see him here.

Thanks for all the replies, and to me personally this build prolly has a little more cam than needed, but as far as the new Chevys go ive already givin some of those a run for there money I did make a short stop light run with one of those 2016 Silverado sport package trucks, couldn't even keep up to my rear tireXD
