Want to buy a toploader and everything to go along with it except the pedals. Will be putting it into my 67 comet 390. Im located in western ny. Thanks cody

Will a mustang trans work? I believe they have a shorter tail shaft.

Ok guys looks like I have a trans deal that's going to happen. I still need everything else.  It looks like a bellhousing is not going to be easy or cheap to find. Trans is a rug-j2. What bellhousing will work with the j2 hooked to a 390.?

Belmont ny its a small town about an hour and a half south of Buffalo ny.

67merc, I know where Belmont is. I`m in Westfield, 30 miles east of Erie PA. There`s a guy in Belfast who has a lot of FE stuff who might have a tranny.

Do you know what his name is or where he is located? I know of a guy from belfast that has many old and rare ford parts but he doesnt sell anything.

I have talked with him many times at car shows. From the sounds He has a lot of cool stuff. I'll have to get ahold of him and see what he has. Thanks for the lead.
