Hey guys I'm installing new out of the box Holley choke kit on a Holley 4778-6 4150.
The fast idle cam is not lining up well with the adjuster screw. Supplied spacers are way to much.
I figure a washer on each post will get it done. Any problems to think about?

Hmm like vacuum port.
Maybe bend the adjuster arm a bit?
-
Yes, bend the arm but be careful if the entire lever can't be removed for bending. That pot metal on Holleys isn't very strong.

Wow, that was easy.
It bends way to well IMHO.
But it worked fine.
Also Holley was kind enough not to include a vacuum port gasket so I made one by cutting an extra idle adjust cork gasket in half with a razor blade. Kind of a bitch to make sure it's in place but seems to work well.
