I know both of those towns wery well
-
Well, sorry to 428 Galaxie to sidetrack the thread... It's been some years since I visited there but I do remember the winter weather and snow did NOT slow down the mining operations! Iron ore if I recall.

Yes Iron They now have to move the whole
Town and railroad because the ground is
cracking and the town risks to go down
in the mine :o I think they have started allready
Visited Mommas krog, Got drunk and had a fist
fight? with the locals When you was there? ;D
My 66 Fairlane came from Kiruna

428 Galaxie - suggest you consult one of the builders who regularly contribute to the forum; Blair Patrick (Capt. Cobra Jet), Brett Lykins, and Barry R. They can offer refurbished OEM rockers, and street or race aftermarket options. Their advise is invaluable too. I also believe you get what you pay for. Highly recommend Jay's book "The Great FE Intake Comparo", and Barry's book "How to Build Max Performance FE Engines".
Heo - Sorry to hear one of those towns is having to move! I don't mind an adult beverage after business is done, but no fights! I prefer a low profile, especially when in someone else's country ;D

More like a joke Bruce but there use to be a ruff
crowd there certain nights :D Like in the mining
towns in the old west
-
Heo - guess I missed the rough crowd but I did hear some country music!
-
Geeez guys get a room.
Now what was the question asked? ;D
-
Yes heo i am from Finland.
I dont mind of topic but when you guys start history lessons of swedish towns,I just look away and pretend this never happened.
What was the original question, never mind.
Will get jays book at some point if nothing else just for support.Bit pricey to this side of the pond but so is everything witch is spelled fe.
-
Spend money on the valve train , you wont be sorry - i bought the T @ D rocker s thru Barry ,,, very nice product ..Bud
-
Get what you mean but i think td rockers would be bit overkill for me.Was thinking of hard chroming current shafts and honing rockers 0.2mm bigger but tossed that idea.
If somebody really wants sell me a set or two i dont mind few spares tight factory rockers im up for it.
Remember i live other side of the pond.

The Sealed Power pump is smaller than the Melling.

Thanks its bit hard to get all the right parts at one place at here. but ill pass that sealed power pump.Brent has helped alot with all hard parts but trying to gather rest of the usual stuff.
Was thinking that the sealed power pump would be re labelled melling pump but thats not the case.
ILL get melling pump when ill get to that.
-
You have to order the right pump for your needs.
The Melling pump in the picture is a 5/16" heavy duty with custom spring and drive shaft.
Don't order that one unless you need it. ;)
You need a M57-B or a M57HV.
I think Melling makes a nicer pump case than Sealed Power and have a few more options.
But you can use a SP HV pump and I'm sure it would do yeoman duty for years.
As always check the depth of the pickup to pan.

Was going on the m57hv.
THANKS
