I have some relay harnesses/fuse blocks from a Crown Vic Interceptor, 2002 I think. They have a Ford part number on them.
They are somewhat modular and can be taken apart with some persistence and I would like to use them to upgrade the electrical of my two FE powered vehicles.
I tried to locate the terminals that snap into the back so I could use my own wiring and colors but am not having much luck. I tried all the usual internet sites I've researched before: Delcity, Auveco, Newark, Waytek, clipsandfasteners, terminalsandconnectors and whatever else popped up on a search. None of the pictures shown match what I have.
Some of the plastic parts, like the covers, have "EPC" molded into them. An internet search with that shows that EPC made a LOT of connector bodies for Ford, but still no way to identify what terminals are used, only the connector bodies.
I took the harness up to my local Ford dealer to see if the parts guy could help, but he was less than enthused with my project and said he couldn't use the part number to find the terminals. The page of terminals he printed off were pretty generic and none of the ones used on these harnesses were on that page.
I'm wondering if anyone has an 'in' with engineering to help identify the terminals used, hopefully they are still in use, or someone with an electronics background can point me in the right direction as far as part numbers.
The first couple pictures are pics of the entire assys: one completely assembled with part number and the other two are somewhat apart.
Then I have pictures of the different terminals for the different gauge wire, different relays, and mini fuse.

The small gauge terminals connect to, from left to right: Mini relay, mini fuse, Bosch relay, and Bosch relay.
The 12 ga brown wires from left to right: Mini fuse, Bosch relay.
Seems as if all of the terminals shown have small tabs or 'ears' to clock the terminal into the body correctly.
I know that there is enough wire in the original harness for me to splice into it, but I would rather (if possible) start fresh with my own colors to make it 'cleaner'.
I also know that there are other relay blocks available, I have a Hella in front of me from Amazon and it doesn't look as 'cool' as the Ford part.
Since I'm putting these in Fords, well, you know.
I'm just thinking that the 40 and 50 year old wiring in my iron would benefit from putting some of the loads from upgraded lights and such on relays.
Any help would be appreciated and I can try to take clearer pictures but my camera is pretty basic.

Looks good, but I think I see the problem- It's the blue wire, wrong gauge for the length and load, definitely gonna build heat and booger up the whole deal ;D ;D ;D

I have never seen terminal ends like the ones in your pictures. I think I would be splicing the wires rather than trying to find those, they are probably a custom part made only for Ford.

Thanks, I would not be surprised to find that to be true. Those are Police accessory harnesses and most likely not a very common item.
I haven't given up yet, but am prepared to come up empty on the terminals.

NAPA has charts with plug connectors and terminals. I do not recall if I ever requested the exact terminals you have but I have used a few on just about all makes. The big flat terminal with the offset lock looks familiar.
I get what you are doing. I found my old 96 F-250 at Puck N Pull 7 months after I sold it. I robbed the fuse box out of it and bought some of the pieces needed to either plug it into my 65 F-250 or build a complete new under hood harness for it. Headlights and all the trailer power will run through it. Right now only the trailer brakes are on there own circuit.

Ed Zachary! I was trying to come up with a clean relay block under the hood for my trailer wiring when I thought of trying to use these nifty relay blocks. I have come up with more information about them so maybe things are not all lost.
Earlier in the year I had rewired my '73 F250 and under the dash I installed a couple of fuse blocks with blade fuses for switched and unswitched power with a homemade relay panel to ease the burden on the 4 or 5 glass tubes in the OEM fuse block.
I have looked at my NAPA catalog (2011) and don't see the terminals. Both the Standard and NAPA books have a much better selection of GM metripack terminals....Ford stuff...not so much.
I'll keep on it for a while longer.

Eons ago when I was working with Mercedes-Benz electronics, there was a company called Wurth Electrik that supplied us with connectors like that. I'll have to dig them out but actually have factory M-B parts in the bag with the Ford oval on them. I agree with Jay, I would probably solder and splice onto what you have.

Hey Bill,
Try mouser.com, but be prepared - there's like 207 pages of terminals to look at. I just looked, and they might just have what you need. I also remember someone recommending "terminal supply" for this stuff too. Can't speak for terminal supply, but we've dealt with mouser for stuff noone else could provide. Hope this helps. I have looked at mouser but without a part number or a mfg to reference I would just be guessing. A few of the options there look really close.
The ebay terminals have the wrong locking feature. Many times those pictures are 'representations' of the product so I don't know for sure if what's being sold is what's shown.
I appreciate the suggestions, however the splicing is looking like it might be the end solution if I decide to use these parts.

pretty much standard newer car relay "stuff" , not just Ford only ..... if you have access to a Crown Vict to looks and see what the relays are actually for might help your quest with the local Napa dealer that has a relay book behind the counter (if you find a older parts guy ask him first ).... Could be something like a ABS pump motor relays and stuff you don't need

I worded my original post somewhat poorly, I should have been more clear about what I have and what I think I would like to do with them.
The relay blocks I have pictured are from a Crown Vic Police Interceptor. The two larger ones are trunk mounted relay blocks and the smaller one is a dash mounted relay block (from just under the dash near the glove box). They are both optional parts of the "Visibility Group" that could be ordered with the Interceptor package. I have a wiring diagram for them (looks as if they were available from 2002 - 2009) but am looking for a parts breakdown in order to try and purchase the terminals.
My idea was to organize the different modules into something that I could use to wire the trailer plug wiring on my '73 F-250, and maybe the upgraded headlights in my truck and my '64 Galaxie.
I tried to exhaust all my options and do as much research as I could before asking for others' help. I kind of enjoy the process of tracking stuff down on my own, but am not always aware of all the resources that are out there, so I asked here.
I DO know a good parts guy at my local NAPA and I will find the time to take the parts to him, he's really good at finding stuff.
Thanks for the suggestion, I will follow up on it and if by chance I am able to locate the right parts I will update.
I've already started drawing out how to use the wiring that is already attached and moving/splicing the Ford stuff to suit my needs.

Thought I would pass on an update, I know that I always like to hear how a problem was researched or solved. Mine is not solved just yet, I have more info but it seems that the terminals are no longer a common item.
This website has the exact components that made up the relay blocks I have, the PDF in the lower left shows the individual parts:

By using the engineering drawings I was able to find part numbers for the terminals used.
The terminals are/were made by "Lear" and these are the p/n I would like to find:
Lear #361030-YF200 10-12 ga term for the Bosch relay
Lear #361430-YF200 14-16 ga term for the Bosch relay
Lear #771016-FK200 10-12 ga minifuse terminal
Lear #771416-FK200 14-16 ga minifuse terminal
It appears to me as if the only source for these are "Request for Bid" sites that have inventory of misc discontinued parts.
Anyone with a purchasing background that can offer insight to these sorts of sources?? I'm thinking that they are sort of like Greene Ford with the obsolete parts, but I don't know if they will sell small quantities to an end user and not a distributor or business.
(The relay blocks and terminals were also used on Buell cycles at one point.)
I also found a PDF catalog for Motorcraft connectors and stuff if anyone has an interest, I'm just passing it on in case someone is upgrading electrical and might find it interesting:
