Very cool! I'd love to see that thing run in person.
-
Steve, did you get to run your 57? I wanted to be there, but was on my way to Ohio
-
The car worked out well Royce.Kevin(That darn cat)was kind enough to let me use one of his carburetors yesterday for some nice results.7.13@97 with 3.50's.It will run on a parallel to your wagon with proper gearing.

Good to see you back at the track Steve.. Looking forward to some match racing at vintage events
-
Hey Steve! You're famous. :) I copied this off the FE Forum. Car looks great, I'm jealous. :)

Thanks for that Alan.Ya mite get a kick out the performance that day with the 520.11.52 @ 117 ,7.35 @ 92 half track, with a Performer RPM manifold and a 780 3310.The 3.50 gear and lack of a good carb laid it into the converter and was at 5400 rpm all the way down track.Just thought it would be fun to try this horrible combo...lol.

Yes.It's been there since 82.Used to race it with mufflers and the hub caps fixed to the wheels.A machinist friend made a tripod piece that went over the front spindle.A1/4 20 screw with tooth washer pasted tech nicely.
