I have never tried it, and was thinking of doing it on my truck. HS bushed rockers, will have end stands, but thinking of just putting springs on the inside. Anyone ever do it?

Springs will nibble on the side of the rocker unless you use a shim there - even an .015 will work.
Otherwise works fine.

Running those same rockers on stock shafts with factory springs and no issues. 2,000 + trouble free miles on the street (toss in plenty of "horsing around"). Thanks for the heads up from Barry, looks like I need to inspect/install some shim stock over the winter to address those spring ends.

I figured as much, and expected to have to do that, thanks for the advice.

Yep! I did for years on my solid roller 428. Wasn't an issue at all

If you need some shims Ross, pm me your address.
I think I got 10 times as many as I needed when I did mine. (thanks POP!)

I bought a few packets of nice .015 shims, I appreciate it though
