Title: Connecting rods
Post by: fekbmax on July 12, 2016, 03:25:39 PM
Whats the scoop on the Molnar rods ?
Are they a decent alternative for guys that don't have the deep pockets for Carrllio or crower ?

I've used them on small blocks.  I like 'em.

They are very light and with a light custom piston (with 1mm/1mm/2mm rings), I was almost into the 1390's on a bobweight.  This is a 289 FIA motor that I did that used them.  443 hp/390 lb-ft.
