Good Morning,
Just got home from OC Maryland Summer Cruise and unfortunately broke an Eagle crank. Fortunately nothing catastrophic. Is there a 4540 4.125 crank readily available from someone without waiting for a custom piece? I hear unless it's custom made I'd be buying a china manufactured piece which may be fine provided its quality.
Recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Scat cranks are fine.....Eagles have the reputation that you have described.
You don't need a steel crank, a Scat cast crank would work perfectly fine and would save you $400-500.

The 9000 series scat cranks are good pieces.
I'm not an eagle fan. Have had two sets of eagle H beams break down at the big end which really was surprising. Nor experience with the cranks but have heard and seen numerous rod failure's

I've pushed 700 hp with the cast Scat cranks. Really nice pieces.

Brent, amazing how many people tell us Eagle is good stuff. If I could handle the ridiculous banter, I'd link this one to Ford Muscle Forums LOL

Ross.....don't get me started brother.
Stampeed, yes, they are readily available in that stroke. You will most likely find that stroke easier than you will find the 4.250" as the 4.250" is more popular.
