Title: Congrats to Kirk Morgan on his Stock Eliminator win!

Kirk is a forum member, and won the IHRA Stock Eliminator crown today at the San Antonio Raceway Nitro Jam Nationals.  Attaboy Kirk!  How about some details on your car and engine combination?

Thanks for the congrats. Here are some of the basic specs on the car:
weight 3530LBS at San Antonio
4:86 rear gear
C-4 trans with 2:75 low gear
Cal tracs rear and Rancho adj shocks
front end Afco double adj shocks, Calvert strut bearings, Moroso springs, roller perches
OEM design piston and pin for 320HP engine
Scat rods
Oem cast crank and journal diameters
C6AER heads with OEM port volumes and REV stock dia valves
PI intake with a Quick Fuel 780 carb
480-460 lift cam with Shubeck lifters
OEM adjustable rockers, Harlan Sharp shafts and end stands
Smith Bros. pushrods.
MSD 7AL-3 and dist, launch at 3000RPM, shift 6500, go through traps at 7000 RPM   Kirk

Nice, Howie.  Good looking cars, those 66-67 Fairlanes and Comets.  Sure wish I still had my 66 Cyclone...
