I just finished uploading the video from this past weekend.
I tried to get as much action as possible, also tried not to embarrass anyone that had difficulties with their car.
It is posted in HD so it is pretty clean.
Some of the elimination runs are not in the exact order, but you get the idea....

A great weekend I my thanks to everyone that brought a car!

Great video, Bill. It's so steady that it almost appears you had your camera on a tri-pod or something. I'm used to getting sea-sick after watching peoples shaky videos ;D Thanks for posting that.

Thanks for posting that.
Here's a vid that was on YouTube right after the race vid. It's the drivers meeting.
Pretty cool stuff from all our hero's.
It's a half hour long so grab a beer and relax.

Thanks Bill. Listening to all those FE's was magic. Would love to make the pilgrimage one year.

If I'm not mistaken, the fella 'back to' wearing the blue Ford jacket and using a camera as the red Comet is being unloaded is an Aussie.
I think he's been at the last couple events. Maybe stow away in his luggage??
(Hope I'm thinking of the right guy...)
-
Yep, that indeed was him.
-
I didn't notice Bill, did you shoot/post the drivers meeting on YouTube?
If so,thank you again that was neat.

Yep, Hayden (hope I spelled it right). He's been there the last 2 years and has a dead on T-bolt replica. Nice guy with a great sense of humor. 4 people in total from overseas; one from Australia, one from Sweden and a couple from Germany with shirts that said "We are FE (from Europe)" ;D. That says a lot about the FE community if you ask me.
-
Hey, that was great! ;D

Great job!The Fairlane at the 13 minute mark as well as the big Mercury were very impressive.Any info on these cars? Thanks for your efforts Bill.

Nossir, can't take credit for that one, but I will watch it based on your advice!

bad ass video. great job of racing everyone. :)

Sorry, Heo, I didn't hear his name. They were still trying to dry the track while the meeting was going on. ::) He said he brings his car to the U.S. twice a year to go racing. I couldn't even imagine how expensive that must be. It's hard for me to afford the 10 hour drive.

I met the swede last yr and I still can`t remember his name! Doug It turned out it was a fuel pump failure on my 63. My son has a picture of Hayden holding a coleman lantern over at Dan Parsons trailer after the beer and brats party. It was an interesting weekend to say the least. Now to fix the car and do another update for next yr.

Too bad that didn't happen Saturday, we coulda yanked the pump off the truck and thrown on it. Your '63 kinda reminds me of Bills '64, only without the primer worn through. I love that original 'never messed with' look. My wifes '65 is that way, only without the Cool Factor that you guys cars have.

The Swede. Was he about 70 with glasses had a Cobra
and named Carl-Gustav.... As in King Carl-Gustav? ;D
He could afford two trips a year i think ::)

What car did he have?
-
He had a really clean white 63 Galaxie fastback. Totally period correct, very healthy sounding too. Also had a very good talk with Blair Patrick about oiling on a later side oiler, bought a set of modified shell lifters from him for my Tunnel Port build.
-
At about 5:20 in the video there is a blue 69 Mustang Hubert Platt car - is this the restored SOHC Mustang that Bob Perkins owns or a tribute car?
