I'm not a H/M expert by any means, but I'm pretty sure that's a marine oil pan, and not any of the things the seller is claiming. They seem to be "relatively" common, I've seen a bunch over the years. I agree though, they're cool.

Looked like the pickup pocket was pretty far forward. Maybe for a rear facing marine application ?
Just thought it was cool though.
