Title: repairing cracks on a C3 2x4
Post by: newfalconowner on February 24, 2016, 05:12:01 PM
got this off Lance awhile ago, and got slow at work one night so I decided to repair the broken stud boss and a few cracks in some other ones.. I use a Miller welder with an aluminum spool gun, getting pretty good at welding with it :)

front right was cracked in a few spots.. so cleaned and welded up and shaped

right middle as well

the rear left bolt boss had a chunk missing

now to bead blast it and look like new :)

Yep, much better with a spool gun than I am. Looks good. Later, Travis
