Title: Anyone done a Hot Rod Power Tour?

If I successfully build my engine and get it in the wagon, I really want to try and do this years. Curious if any of you guys have done one before?

I have never done the Tour, but it is a great goal.
Puts you in a mined set to make the show and push hard to get the Hot Rod ready.
Keep a punch list taped to the window and when you think of a must do, write it on the list
and just keep crossing them off.
Remember the goal is to make the show and keep running, not be 100% perfect.

I'd imagine it has to be similar to drag week?

I would hazard a guess that Drag Week is a tad harder on the gear.
The Tour you just have to keep up in traffic.
Drag Week you have make a pass each day and keep up in traffic. ;)
If I had the coin and it was in my reach I would do the Drag Week.
I've done lots of "Tours".

I did Power Tour in 2011. We went from Cocoa Beach,  Florida  to Detroit.  It was a blast. Here is a post I did about it.

Joel...I read the Bang Shift link....Where's the finish of the story? It teases us that the best part of the story is yet to come! Did you ever make it back home? Abducted by aliens and they wiped out your memory in a mind probing experiment?
