I'm sure you will get alot of negative feedback about these and I'm sure the big engine guys may have good reasons, but truthfully I have seen two sets locally , one bare and one complete and they didn't look that bad to me. The complete set is on a 390 4 speed mustang that gets ran pretty hard, the bare set on the bench of course, .  for a mild to moderate street build, I don't see why they wouldn't be OK. Hi performance ? Idk, I wonder if anyone has done any all out porting or CNC work on them to see how far they could safely go.

The pair I had in my hands felt terribly light, and the metal was soft and the texture was not dense.  Definitely not Edelbrock quality, but I haven't actually ported a set, and probably will not unless someone locally wanted to try and see what they will flow.  When you pick up an Edelbrock, BBM, Pond, etc., you can feel the difference in the metal density and porosity.  JMO, but for anything higher performance, I would stay with the known quality for the difference in price.  Joe-JDC

These are essentially Procomp heads.

Head flow and performance isn't the only thing you should look at.  Procomp had a horrible reputation for the guides and seats falling out....I just simply wouldn't trust them.

The same castings are used by ProMaxx and sold in CNC ported form as well. While it all looks attractive, when you really look at the costs you are only saving about $200 on the cheap Chinese castings that is a bad copy of the Edelbrocks.

Buy American, most offshore parts are cheaper for a reason! Inferior at best.

BBM makes an excellent head.
Well worth the price of admission.
