Title: Christmas
Post by: fekbmax on December 23, 2015, 01:33:25 AM
I just wanted take a few minutes to first of all thank Jay for an awesome sight, its relatively drama free, lots of good usable information and advice from so many great guys and minds. Even the criticism here is always constructive and the advice and guidance is straight forward yet most of you guys don't fault or think less of some of us that sometimes think out of the box or do things un orthodox.. I have been a huge FE nut since highschool, way t many years to think about yet still wet behind the ears compared to some of you guys. I have learned alot and like to think I may have even helped at least someone along the way.
Just want to wish all you guys a very Merry Christmas, and thank you all for keeping the FE alive and kicking stronger than ever before.. Hope to continue the journey on through the new year...
Thanks guys, ..

Keith that is partly because this site is run by one of the most "out of the box" thinkers in the hobby/sport/pastime/disease.
I'll add my thanks to everyone also. I really enjoy reading what y'all are doing with your cars.
2016 will see some projects getting close and/or finishing (like mine) so that should be fun.
Hope Santa drops a new SOHC in your all your stockings and have a great new year all.

I think we all think outside the box and are a bit unorthodox, otherwise we wouldn't be running FE's 8)

I'd also like to thank Jay for creating this site. I especially like the Members Projects section. It's great getting to see the builds that everyone is doing. And I also agree with Jay, I think 2016 is shaping up to be a very interesting year.

Best wishes and a merry Christmas to everyone. I hope you all have a safe holiday season and good health for the coming new year.

Lima Bean, wow - if looks could kill!  Joanne has it down!  :o

A big Merry Christmas to all in The Forum; I continue to learn a bunch and, like Doug really enjoy reading about the projects everyone is doing.  The posts on drag week this year were both informative and hilarious to follow and made me feel like I was there with Jay, Hemi Joel, That Darn Cat, The Trunk Monkey, and the rest of our FE gang.  Jay, thanks also for indulging our appreciation for FTs, Y-Blocks, MELs, SBFs, and even the occasional Duesenberg!

I still believe we live in great times with so much information and good parts available for our chosen FEs.  Like all of you I've raced a number of them and they have also carried me many 1000s of trouble-free miles both commuting to work and traveling across our wonderful country.

Definitely looking forward to 2016,
Bruce

Merry Christmas everyone. It's all of you folks that make this a great site. Safe travels.

Send some cool air toward Houston, no snow needed. It's in the low 80's for our Birthday celebration.

Merry Christmas to all and hope 2016 will bring everyone all the FE parts they may want. Jay I don't know how you do it all I mean with a full time job keeping this forum up and active and then having the time to do all the work you do on your cars ,parts making and engine building to name just a few things that you are actively doing. My hats off to you man. Keep up the good work and in the mean time think about that Hi flow FE wedge head once in a while. Hint Hint.
