There is a whole bunch of unusual stuff going on in there.  Valve covers appear to be billet.  Individual coil ignition with no distributor.  No visible oil pump drive would seem to point toward a remote or dry sump.  Water lines to the intake face with a remote water pump.  Interesting EFI rail plumbing strategy.  And some really, really long runners on the intake - gonna tune pretty hard at a modest RPM.

The screens in the pipes are needed for road use but man oh, man do they ever kill power and crush the fuel mixture.  And if they are not well mounted they will take about three laps around the dyno room at eyeball level....

Lots of interesting stuff on that engine, like Barry said. I wonder what the application is?
That timing cover looks like one I just about bought off of Kurt Neighbor at the fall Columbus meet. It was an older HM design, but that one appears to be newer with a nice polish and a Ford logo on the front. Pretty cool. And whatever that damper is hanging off the front, it certainly doesn't look like any normal piece I've seen.

No distributor on that engine, must be a custom crank trigger late model fancy box with individual coil packs?

Coil pack in front of firewall inside fender.

The DOHC Indy engine Mustang (wow) and the 63 Galaxie NASCAR stocker!   Am I right the Galaxie was the car Glenn "Fireball" Roberts drove? 

Btw a guy named Jim Toensing swapped a 255 Ford DOHC Indy engine in a vintage Ford GT.

The Galaxie is from the museum. I thought John Craft said it wasn't Fireball's car it was another famous car that was repainted as a tribute to Fireball after he died.

Whatever it was very cool to see and very original having been in a museum for 50 years. That is a High Riser engine.
