Boss powered?

I've never seen that car before, interesting. From the era I'd guess 351C.

Another in color.

Very cool! I wonder if it still exists?

My thought too. Thanks Jared for the article. At the time NHRA had a 5 year limit on the age of the body style, so the '70 Mustangs of Glidden, Dyno Don, etc. were obsolete after the 1975 season. The cars commonly used in 1976, 1977 like Mustang II's and Fairmonts had a different wheelbase so I don't know that it would have been likely to have been re-bodied, at least not as a Ford. It could still be around!

Wow, 8.86 @ 154. Something to shoot for...

funny.
Tho doing it at 366 cubic inches is pretty cool, tho that car is most likely a world lighter than yours.

Yes the old magazines did cover the car pretty well. IIRC, it was approximately 2,300-2,400 lbs with driver ready to run.

Always wanted to see one of the kuntz/Booze Fe's in a light tube frame car. If I'm not mistaken they were running 8.70's in a nearly 3600lb when they quit. . Loose a thousand pounds and 10 years more advanced FE tech and it would seem that upper 7's could surely be reached.
Who has the quickest non SOHC FE in a full body car, be it full tube or other wise ?
