Does anyone have more information on this spacer clip? Any design information?

Ask Bill- WConley, or maybe Jay knows some info too. I'm sure Bill can tell you what you need to know. Here's a quick video.

Hi Joe -
I designed those up and had a couple of sets of prototypes CNC'd a few years ago. Getting beyond that point has been difficult because of high piece cost. It would be hard to justify a big multiple of cost over the standard clips when they are hiding under the rocker covers.
Fun exercise though!

One thing about Bill's clips is that they come off the shafts a lot easier than the stockers. Especially when the engine is installed in the car, getting the stock clips off can be kind of a pain. With Bill's, you just pull that little pin back and they come right off.
What is really needed is some clear SOHC valve covers to show Bill's clips off. They'd be flyin' off the shelves, Bill!! ;D ;D

These are Ottodyne clips right?> I tried getting a set (spend quite some time). Ottodyne said they are not available and that they don't make them anymore. What was the cost on a set of these?

Bill, if you designed them, would you be willing to share the designs?

Sounds like you both have another project. ;) ;)
