I've been to the one in Kansas.  Had to check it out when I saw semi-trucks pulling into the side of a cliff.

Difficult for me to comprehend anything underground being dry.  Having done my share of cavern skindiving in Florida springs further drove underground is at least damp.  Articles author stated: "The constant temperature and humidity [it's 68 to 72 degrees year-round] are ideal for storing stamps and other products," she said.
