Wow... that beast is screaming "give me a blower!" Have you thought of installing seat belts and a windscreen? Those might be useful in a boat like this.

So many replies already . I appreciate the kind words.
I tried to upload several more pictures but I was getting a file to big notice.
The boat is a 1969 Sanger flatbottom wooddeck. Casale v-drive with a FE 427 ov course :)
POP full roller valve train, Scat forged crank, Tunnel Wedge intake, Crower Rods, CP pistons, with a Joe Hunt Mag.
I did a complete restoration that took 3.5 years ( 2 years longer than expected) lol
I will try to post some more build pics if anybody really cares.
And the tow vehicle is a Red 1969 Ford Bronco presently going thru a resto. Not the wife's Yukon lol

Whew, LOL! Just kidding about it, but glad to know about the Bronco. :D Very excellent work on that project! I would like to see some more of it. When I was growing up in So California in the mid to late 60s the Colorado river was one of THE places to go in the summer. It was a hot rod show on the water. At that time it was said the most desirable ski boat engine was the 427 FE because of its power and durability; boat engines don't get to rest like a car's! So I saw and got to ride in several 427 powered boats in those days. You could jerk up to 4 skiers at a time, then pull them at high speed! Lots of fun and great sounds too. 8)

One of my first jobs after high school was working at Cole boats doing installations.
Crazy days.

That is absolutely gorgeous!! Beautiful! That engine looks perfectly detailed and great for the period. And definitely NO windscreen for originality, although knowing how bumpy a high speed boat can become, some sort of seat restraint would probably be in the back of my mind..lol
The Bronco will be the PERFECT tow vehicle for it! And your time frame wasn't so far off. You figure time and cost, then double it to get close >:( ;)

Brian, Your Sanger turned out beautiful and the FE is over the top too. Great job, you should be very proud. I've followed your build from the beginning and the documentation of the build helped many people, I'm sure. Now go have fun with it and enjoy, just be safe and wear your Lifeline. Best regards, Bob

Very nice Boat!
Friend of mine took me for a ride in one with a 427 8v years ago. That was one scary ride.
But, even though the boat was in super shape looked almost new the purchaser scrapped the boat and used the engine.
That was only a tease with the pics. Would love to see more photo's of complete resto and also in a larger size.
As others have said photobucket or other pic host is good for posting.
