Gessford is pretty good, there is a guy off L in Omaha, I forget his name, nice guy, nearly blind.  I bet he was great at one time, can't really read a mic anymore.

If you are closer to Plattsmouth, I know a couple guys down there that do good work in the machine shop, but maybe not the best at picking parts with today's stuff, but I am pretty comfortable with them hitting the mark I want

Where are you from?

Necro post but my two cents:  Gessford did my 406 heads... not cheap but first rate work.  George (Anderson) is a pretty cool fella, if you ask, he'll give you a nice tour of the shop.  Ken Schneider of Engine Dynamics in Davey also builds a spiffy FE, but it's a one man shop and he is VERY busy.

Gessford is your shop. #1 machine work and attention to FE details. Senior G has shipped FE stuff around the globe. Not cheap but heck, when did good, no great,  work ever go for cheap?
