Title: What Engine Does This Pulley Belong?
Post by: chris401 on June 14, 2015, 10:41:38 AM
FM7205-6. I have learned its not a Y block, does have FE bolt pattern but lacks the center alignment. Photos side by side and back to back compare it to the C5TE-A cast pulley

Industrial or commercial use, perhaps?

Could be a FT accessory pulley. Unlike my other cast bolt on pulleys which are ligned up with the "fingers" these bolt holes are lined up in the "cut out" areas.

Looks like the one I used with my 427 balancer when I went to power steering. I think its from a 390 balancer in the mid 60s.

It's been a long time since I had my '63 390 Galaxie....but I do agree it looks like the P/S pulley for a 352-390 balancer.

The picture on top of hoist are sitting on C4 ballaners. The one on left sits 1/4" more forward than the other two cast pulleys I have. Should I advertise this as an early pre-65 Galaxie pulley?
