Title: Hot Rod's 50th anniversary SOHC article

The new May 2015 Hot Rod arrived today with a nice article from their archives on the 427 SOHC. Same issue also has a Dragonsnake Cobra article and an interview with Bob Glidden. Now if we could just get them to quit wasting pages on the Scrubs.

I'll look for that one. There has been a big shake-out in the realm of enthusiast magazines over the last year.  I've been an HRM subscriber for a long time but haven't been overly-impressed with the last few issues -- between the blatant pushing of the latest go-fast parts and big-budget builds that are out of my league, I'm not certain I'm a target customer.  Used to enjoy CC before it was reduced to a pamphlet.

Just got my copy in the mail today.  For the most part it was an accurate article, with a lot of good photos and historical information.  I got a kick out of the sidebar at the end of the article, that mentioned new parts.  The article says Bill "Coons" is making timing covers for the SOHC LOL!  If the guys at Hot Rod only knew...
